Tips
The terms statistics and statistician may not appear in the qualifications of the job advertisement. Other popular terms are data science and data scientist, but also look out for phrases like “quantitative skills”, “from a numerical background”, data analysis, data analyst, data modelling and “number crunching skills”. If the job scope contains expressions like market research, feasibility study, study design, or survey it is may also be relevant to statistics.
